Interpol to play London & Manchester shows in the new year

Interpol have announced they will be embarking on a three date UK and Ireland tour in January and February 2015.

The American rockers announced plans to perform sets in London, Manchester and Dublin on their official website to promote upcoming fifth studio album ‘El Pintor’.

Before coming to the UK and Ireland Interpol will be embarking on a European leg with seven dates scheduled; but if it were up to singer Paul Banks there would be less touring on the books.

Speaking about Interpol’s upcoming release Banks said: “I would love to not fucking tour, man. I would love to put out three records a year if I didn’t have to tour…I mean, I would tour, but all artists now have to spend less time in the studio and more time on the road because there’s no money any more in records”.

We’re glad you’re still touring Interpol, where else would we get to release our inner teenage angst?

Pre-sale tickets for the UK and Irish dates (see below) will be available to mailing list subscribers at on Thursday (17 July) at 9am and via general sale on Friday (18 July).

February 6 – London, Roundhouse
February 8 – Manchester, Albert Hall
February 10 – Dublin, Olympia
