David Bowie has hinted in a cryptic message that fans can expect a new album ‘sooner’ than expected.
Last year Ziggy Stardust shocked the world of music releasing his 24th studio album ‘The Next Day’, his first in a decade, without any prior warning.
It would seem Bowie isn’t expecting us to wait another ten years after plans to release material were announced during a fundraiser in London’s 12 Bar during a celebration of 50 years of Bowie’s music in aid of the Terrance Higgins Trust.
In a statement that read: “This city is even better than the one you were in last year, so remember to dance, dance, dance. And then sit down for a minute, knit something, then get up and run all over the place. Do it. Love on ya. More music soon. David.” the rumour mill has started churning.
‘The Next Day’ was an album recorded in complete secrecy with Bowie even going as far as changing studios when rumours leaked he was making a new record.
Fingers crossed we get some more information out of this musical legend on when we can expect album number 25, that’s impressive in itself!
